Bolognese with Shredded Cabbage

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, crushed
  • 400g lean beef mince
  • 400g can tomato Soup
  • 1 cup beef stock
  • ½ cup red wine
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 8 mushrooms chopped
  • 1 cabbage, shredded

Method

  1. Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add onion and garlic. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
  2. Add mince and cook for a further 5 minutes, or until well browned.
  3. Add soup, stock, wine, oregano, tomatoes and mushrooms. Simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Separate cabbage into individual bowls. Pour the bolognese sauce over the cabbage.
