Fruits are allowed during the second and third phases of the program (Trimsition and Body Trimming). Most fruits are considered non- starchy carbs so you can have a piece of fruit with any of your meals as one of your non- starchy carbs. Take a look at the My Food Guides section in the column on the left to find a list of non- starchy carb options (including fruit) and their serving sizes.
For protein snacks we just recommend protein and non- starchy vegetables (not fruit).
