Yes, we estimated 10,000 steps as taking roughly 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours of low intensity walking. Working by time will definitely be easier for those who don’t have a pedometer.
Splitting up the 10,000 steps throughout the day could also be a good way to make sure they are achieved ie, a half hour walk during a lunch break and the rest after work.
