    I’m a fan of Freekeh as aside from the better taste, it has more protein and more fibre than Quinoa yet I can’t find it on the food guides. Here is the nututional data for 1/2 cup of cooked freekeh

    Calories 90 Sodium 1 mg
    Total Fat 1 g Potassium 0 mg
    Saturated 0 g Total Carbs 18 g
    Polyunsaturated 1 g Dietary Fiber 4 g
    Monounsaturated 0 g Sugars 0 g
    Trans 0 g Protein 3 g
    Cholesterol 0 mg
    Vitamin A 0% Calcium 2%
    Vitamin C 0% Iron 6%

    Can I add this to my list of carbs?

    Yes! You may add 1/2 a cup of cooked Freekeh to your starchy carb options.
